Teommi Metz's passion was ignited at the age of 12 years old with her first three clients. From there her love for the beauty industry developed.
Throughout her teenage years, she was always intrigued to expand her knowledge and skill. Her skill which she quickly realized was her "gift".

As a stylist, she has worked in the cosmetology industry for over 20 years. After receiving her Bachelors of Science in Marketing and Minor in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University, she attended Ray's Faith Academy of Beauty Education in Gonzales, Louisiana. There she obtained the necessary education to earn her cosmetology license. After attending several trainings throughout the United States, she has mastered all aspects of hairstyling. Her upscale approach to styling lead her to create a successful salon that commits to providing exceptional service to its clientele ranging in age, gender and includes all cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

After these accomplishments, she began to excel in the beauty industry, in addition to opening Solangia Hair Salon, Teommi has worked with Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) as a stylist. Teommi has styled special guest such as world renowned author Immaculee IIibagiza. Teommi and Solangia Hair Salon have recieved national attention that brought additional opportunities for her including becoming an Educator for Design Essentials & Platform Artist. Experiences such as this further fueled her to pursue and complete advanced training from seminars throughout the United States

Passion and perserverance have driven Teommi towards boundless success and the capability to excel in all endeavors. She is dedicated to providing clientele with talented, skilled, and well educated stylists who like herself, offer and create classic styles that remain on the cutting edge.
